The Milgram experiment was an experiment

of social psychology
conducted in 1961 by
U.S. psychologist Stanley Milgram . The purpose of the experiment was to study the behavior of those to whom authority (in this case a scientist) order to perform actions that conflict with ethical and moral values \u200b\u200bof the subjects themselves. The experiment began three months after the start of the trial Jerusalem against the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann . Milgram conceived the experiment as an attempt to answer the question: "Is it possible that Eichmann and his million accomplices were simply following orders?" Continued ...
