The martial arts are designed to increase mental and physical capacity in the fighter needs to face life. The martial arts were developed to "heal your neighbor" and not to destroy it. Those who practice martial arts in a serious and conscientious learns about himself through, discovering the qualities that have not previously conceived or did not know you had. Bruce Lee once said: "The martial arts are like art, are the living expression of the human being." In fact, just like music, sculpture, painting, etc. needs man to be expressed, so the martial arts of the body need to be fully expressed. Imagine if there were people who did not know how to play, or create breathtaking sculptures, or people who can not paint a picture! We could understand these arts? I think not! Why all this? Because if there were men capable di esprimere tali arti, l’arte di per se sarebbe morta, perché nessuno saprebbe esprimerla agli altri. Quindi, un artista come potrebbe esprimere onestamente se stesso, i suoi sentimenti, emozioni se non ci fosse l’arte? Tutto sarebbe perduto e noi non potremmo goderci la meravigliosa musica di Beethoven per esempio, ne potremmo goderci un dipinto di Picasso ecc. L’arte ha bisogno del nostro corpo per essere espressa. Spero che questo articolo vi chiarisca le idee circa la concezione sbagliata che la gente ha nei confronti delle arti marziali. Le arti marziali sono una disciplina psicofisica nata con l’intento di sostenere il combattente nel suo percorso di crescita personale, interiore e fisico.
